Philadelphia, PA — The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance today announced its endorsement of celebrated LGBTQ community advocate and public policy expert Jonathan Lovitz to be the next State Representative for District 182, serving Philadelphia’s Center City region.
“The Alliance is incredibly proud to have Jonathan Lovitz representing the needs and best interest of the LGBTQ business community, as well as the growing socio-economic needs of the community-at-large as a member of our national Board of Directors. We truly believe that he will take the incredible knowledge and experience he possesses with him to the State legislature in Harrisburg where he will continue impacting change for his state and community. Jonathan not only represents the views and needs of folks in Philadelphia, but also understands equity and equal access needs as they pertain to housing locally, state-wide, and nationally,” said Ryan A. H. Weyandt. Chief Executive Office of the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance.
His work ethic is rooted in a belief that when we all do better, we all do better. That is why Jonathan dedicates himself to fighting for affordable and inclusive healthcare; essential services for our seniors and veterans; gun free, fully-funded schools; supporting our arts and culture institutions; preserving our environment; and protecting Philadelphians’ important voice in government and the statewide economy.
“With affordable housing and safer, more inclusive neighborhoods among the most important issues facing Philadelphians, the Alliance’s ongoing guidance will be invaluable to me ahead. Together we will work to help my constituents in Philadelphia, and all Pennsylvanians, live healthier, happier, more successful lives,” said Lovitz.
Jonathan is running to represent the people of Philadelphia in Harrisburg to continue using his advocacy, policy, and legislative skills to further listen to, fight for, and care for his Philadelphia neighbors. As Jonathan always says, “Let’s make a difference.”
